Canada won its third game of the tournament
In the last game of basic groups, Canada faced Italy. In yesterday´s match of Italy goalkeeper Dinara got injured, and therefore starting goalie was Raffaele Pellicori. Even he, however, failed to prevent the six Canadian goals. Maple leafs finsished the game without problems and recorded their third victory in the tournament. They finished round robin without losing any point at the first place. Italians have to accept the third position.

Filip was the first scorer of Slovakia, while Skvaridlo added secon in the 7th minute. For Greece it could be even worse, but Giba hit the corss bar of greek goal.Second period was again controlled by Slovakia. Kanich and Lajčiák made it 4:0 and greek goalie Mohonas left the creas in favour of his backup Liosios. But he havent stop the slovak scoring machine, which ended up in 10:1 victory. The lone greek goal came in th ebeginning of the third period, when Bolanakis passed ball to Kourousis who scored. Another Slovak goals were scored by Pobeha, Rímsky, Hrivnak, Lajciak, Skvaridlo and Danko.

Important was that we scored two goals in the first period, which started a stream of other goals. I hope players find enough energy to quarterfinal game with Portugal."Alkiviadis Zisidis (Greece): "Slovakia has a very strong team, we were much slower. It is a pity, but the Slovaks totally deserved to win. Now we will play placing games and hope to play much better."
