| Siivikkalan Pelikassit was founded in 2005 by a group of childhood friends. Over the years the team has been successful in Finland leading to the national championship last year. We are proud to be representing Finland in its debut in the World Championship Tournament. We are known for our entertaining style of playing and for our passionate fan group who will follow the team to Pilsen. Every member of our organisation has worked hard so we’ll be able to attend and we are looking forward for this experience. We are sure that our participation will help us promote this magnificent game in Finland. Street Hockey is getting more popular each year but a lot is still to be done. In Finland Street Hockey is played in tournaments. Every year qualification matches are held in major cities of Finland and the final tournament takes place in the capital of Finland, Helsinki. History is being made as we participate in the World Championship Tournament and hopefully Finnish media will acknowledge that. We are hoping to have a lot of fun and to entertain the spectators. |
